A Poly-wedge pulley, also known as a Multi-V pulley, is a specialized power transmission component that combines the flexibility of a flat belt with the high-performance capabilities of a V-belt. The pulley features longitudinal grooves distributed equidistantly along its circumference. These grooves engage with the corresponding ribs of a multi-wedge belt, utilizing the increased contact surface area to transmit torque via friction.
